The Starfield game will receive major updates

Todd Howard has promised Starfield players some great updates in the future.

Bethesda has promised players of the space role-playing game Starfield significant updates in 2024. These updates are set to add new features, including new ways to explore and travel between planets, along with the game's first expansion pack, Shattered Steel, planned for this year. However, more than a quarter of 2024 is already over and Starfield players have not received any significant content beyond a few casual updates.

In this regard, Starfield game director Todd Howard mentioned in his latest interview with IGN that Bethesda will soon make big announcements about the game's future updates. According to the director, Bethesda is still following the work on Starfield and will soon share details of the really good updates to come. "Since we're doing a lot of work on Starfield, we've got some great updates coming soon," Howard added.

Given that the Xbox Game Showcase is scheduled for June, it's likely that we'll get more details on future Starfield content at this event. However, the possibility of early introduction of these important updates in the near future is not out of the question. Starfield is now available on PC and Xbox Series X Xbox Series S is available.
